This initiative is generously supported by contributions from Pacific, Gas and Electric Company. If you represent a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a budget under $1,000,000, you are eligible to apply.

Each year, NCIIA hosts the Open Minds exhibition to showcase cutting-edge innovation from NCIIA's best student teams. Ecovative, an Open Minds alum, is a triple-bottom line organization with the mission to eliminate disposable plastics through commercialization of cost and performance competitive sustainable materials platform, namely Eco-cradle, a Styrofoam packaging replacement.
